Biomic
Introducing a stirring-type food waste processor that uses the power of wind and microorganisms to process organic waste.
Biomic started with the reuse of Moso bamboo that is damaging the satoyama (traditional rural landscape). By using a special machine, the bamboo can be turned into powder, which serves as a base material. This machine utilizes the power of naturally occurring microorganisms to decompose organic waste into compost and carbon dioxide. In places like restaurants where a large amount of organic waste is generated, cardboard composting cannot handle the volume, and manually stirring it every day is a labor-intensive task. Therefore, for commercial use, an electric stirring organic waste composter was developed, which uses household power for stirring while relying on indigenous bacteria found in thinned Moso bamboo for fermentation. It is an energy-efficient organic waste processing machine that does not use large amounts of electricity to forcibly heat and dry the waste or eliminate odors, operating with only the minimum necessary energy.
